High Quality Rowing Machine For those looking for a high intensity, low impact workout, I would highly recommend the WaterRower.
This unit comes in three different types of wood; natural ash wood, cherry wood, and the most durable black walnut. The stronger the wood choice the less torque the machine will have, which is great in increasing the longevity of the machine.
The WaterRower is also smaller in design comparative to other traditional rowers, and sits just 82” in length and can be stored vertically without removing water or breaking the unit down into two pieces.
Personally, I really enjoy the sound of the water while rowing. I find it very soothing even while enjoying a very intense, full-body workout.
The WaterRower brand, specifically the WaterRower Natural Rowing Machine with S4 Monitor was featured in House of Cards on HBO.
Unlike traditional rowing machines, the WaterRower uses water to regulate the resistance level. This allows the user to feel a more natural rowing motion and change the resistance on the fly, without having to worry about adjusting a lever or knob to increase and decrease its’ resistance. Simply pull harder and row faster to initiate additional resistance. The one downside is due to this, it is more limited on the overall resistance level that can be maintained.
Overall, the WaterRower Classic is a sleek well built piece of cardio equipment designed for anyone who is looking to get a great low impact cardiovascular workout in a short duration of time.
