Matrix U50 Upright Bike with XIR Console Review
by Nathan Coleman
The Matrix U50 XIR Upright Bike is one of the fitness industry’s most stable, comfortable designs. This upright bike has a step-through feature that allows users short or tall a much easier ability to get on and off the bike easily. The dual frame allows the bike to have a smaller foot print, but be as solid as any upright on the market.
Any user that rides an indoor bike, whether a recumbent or upright will tell you how important it is to have a comfortable seat. The Comfort Arc Seat is one of the most comfortable seats on an exercise bike. The seat has a easy-lift lever which allows for quick, easy adjustments on the fly. In addition to comfort and stability, this bike has 30 levels of electronic resistance by using an Exact Force Induction Brake. This braking system allows extreme resistance change to happen in seconds versus the traditional braking systems you will see most commonly used in the exercise equipment market.
The screen on the Matrix U50 XIR is a 16” Class HD touchscreen. This is one of the most unique screens on the market as it allows you to stream audio from phone, connect wireless headphones, or connect a wireless heart rate strap. The console also has entertainment features on it that allows you to watch Netflix, listen to Spotify, Web Browser, and so much more. The entertainment options are great, but better yet is the Sprint 8 program on the XIR console. This is a 20 minute interval high intensity based program that allows you to push yourself hard and see great results while the screen shows you the way. High intensity intervals programs are one of the most popular programs on the market as studies have been proven these programs give you optimal results.
